Tucson Rolling Shutters: Since 1979
From a husband and wife selling rolling shutters out of their home to a large retractable products manufacturer, TRS is a leader in their industry. The only way to grow a business is hard work, dedication and excellent customer service. This is very evident in the way TRS conducts business with clients, dealers, vendors and team members. We’re always fair and honest in every aspect of business. Customers are happy with us and it shows as 70% of our business comes from referrals and repeat customers.
Since the company was formed in 1979, Tucson Rolling Shutters, Inc. always remains true to teamwork, pride, integrity and innovation so you constantly get the best products and service available.

All new products are planned, engineered and tested from CAD drawings to rapid design to final extrusions. Innovation is part of our never-ending quest for the most cutting edge retractable product available in any market.

Our History
1982
TRS only sold and installed rolling shutters in and around Tucson. Rolling shutters were a new concept for most American customers.
1986
TRS purchased their first container of raw materials for full-scale manufacturing. Becoming a manufacturer helped decrease lead times, improve quality control, and allowed TRS to become more competitive.
1994
We became one of the first companies to offer retractable solar screens to Tucson and the American market.
2001
TRS introduced a revolutionary new self-locking tension screen system called the Tucson SunFix® Screen.
2009
The very successful zipper screen system called the Solution Screen was released to the world. Soon after the s7 Solution Screen was created with widths up to 32ft to meet the demands of wider patio openings.
2010
TRS introduced the Tucson Signature Series Motors & Electronics and was one of the first with a LIFETIME WARRANTY on motors and electronics in the industry.
2015
TRS offers the LiTouch Safety Drive to protect retractable screens from obstacles or resistance.
2017
We became Tucson Rolling Shutters & Screens.
2018
TRS opened a retail sales and installation location in Tempe, Az. Tucson Rolling Shutters & Screens expanded the ability to provide the best retail products from the manufacturer and installed by the manufacturer to the entire state of Arizona.
2019
TRS introduced new features that greatly enhanced our already extraordinary retractable products such as Angle Build Out, a Wi-fi enabled hub, and the Tucson Adjustable Bottom Bar.
2020
TRS opens a manufacturing plant in Georgetown, Tx just North of Austin. The Texas team manufacturers and installs product all around Central Texas.
2021
TRS added the all new s56 Solution Screen to their Solution Screen product line. The s56 offers a stronger option for patio screen applications. The new Patio Bottom Bar is the standard for patio screen systems.
2022
TRS expanded their Bilby manufacturing facility more than double the original size. New equipment and expert manufacturing processes increased production and reduced lead times.
2024
TRS opens another location in New Braunfels, Texas.

Licensed and Insured
TRSS is a licensed, registered contractor for residential and commercial applications (ROC 102021). Our licenses certify us to install and wire any type of window covering on a home or business anywhere in the state of Arizona.
TRSS is completely bonded and insured. In addition to our five year warranty on our installations we are insured for your protection and ours. All our installation crews work for us with no subcontracting.
